U.S. Third Fleet operates across approximately 50 million square miles of the eastern and northern Pacific. Within its Maritime Operations Center, the War Room and two Operations Planning Team spaces support situational awareness, command briefings, mission planning, and the Navy Planning Process.

The challenge went beyond aging technology. Fragmented communications, limited interoperability between spaces, unreliable video conferencing, and disconnected planning workflows made real-time coordination harder across Third Fleet, U.S. Pacific Fleet, and other DoD partners.
